Be shocked. :) heehee. I figured that since I have refused to study for the moment, I might as well do something else. But hey! To be fair to me, I was studying the conflict in Northern Ireland before I started typing this out!
I haven't returned home yet this week.. :( But, I'll go home tomorrow! :) Even if its only for a short hour, I think Dorothy got it right when she said "There is no place like home." And I think that the scholars who share this boarding school with me are far greater than I am. Honestly, they're separated from home by a frigging OCEAN.
Some scholars are cool.
Oh! And I have found out something interesting. Cause I'm blogging straight from Microsoft Word (apparently there's an option when you open new documents if you want it to be a normal word document or a blog post in Microsoft Word 2007), I can use the smiley >.< without repercussions!
Yay! You don't know how many times the >< has screwed with my blog posts. ><
So, as I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, I was about to blog about recent events that have happened in my life, and I shall be arrogant and presumptuous in order to believe that you are actually remotely interested in the sad excuse I call my life.
Although, in the words of a wise (and ultimately lame classmate of mine), "How is my life? Well, my life is lively!"
Actually, I am not altogether sure who said that.... o.O, I remember having a conversation about who said that with Jen and Jiayun. It was altogether bizarre. It went like this:
Me: Who was the one who told me that her life was lively after I asked how's life? Is it YOU or YOU?
Jen: That's so lame! I bet it was Jiayun!
Jiayun: No! It wasn't me! That sounds more like Pam!
Me: But I remember that it was said by one of you not me! And I think it was Jen!
Jen: Me? Really? I don't remember saying that before...Are you sure I was the one who said it Pamie?
Me: Eh. I actually have no idea.
Jiayun: HAH! HAHAHAH! I bet you said it lorh!
This ended with us laughing of course. Whoever knew that we'd so lame, to the extent that we would forget who said a particular lame line... >.< To quote someone else, that is pretty "Lol-worthy"
And I am still convinced that it was Jen who said it.
Pfft. I found a post that I typed out pretty long ago but haven't posted it. Naturally, I posted it, which is the post before this one.
Y'know something? I totally forgot what I wanted to post. So, I shall just post this, and hope that I will have an epiphany about what i wanted to post at first.
Hello everyone. I'm in the boarding school now, and I am typing this into Microsoft Word to post later! So if you find my grammar/spelling is especially good this time round.. Do not be afraid. It is not me. It's the AutoCorrect. xD, heehee. Although I have ignored the suggestions a lot of times already, it keeps popping up! Apparently it has some problem with informal language or something. Ah well!
Hokey-pokey, on to what I want to blog about (significant things that happened in June holidays cause that's when I ignored this bloggy blog blog of mine. Oops?): L1-L6 church camps/L9 church camp. Brace yourselves for an insanely long post! I wanted to put in Japan Trip, Band Outing and Math Carnival for P4s here too… But I decided that adding to the crazy list that I want to blog about is not very smart… So! Escape now if you want! Or just read the parts that you want to read. Although this whole post is basically about church during the holidays lols. If I actually manage to finish typing out what I want to type... :)
Of course I'm not going to post a blow-by-blow account! By the time I finish typing that... It'll be... Never! So I shall just say a bit shall I? Lols.
Starting from the first on the list! L1-L6 camp! It was crazily hectic... The L1-L3 camp wasn't organised by my group, so their schedule was way more packed than the L4-L6 camp. And that's because my group is super slack. :) Heehee. The amount of times I've poured water for little kiddies... And tied knots for the ends of rosaries... I think I've become a pro at it. And I'll never ever forget how to play the body-parts game! I've explained it way to many times to ever forget that... Esther kept letting me explain! Remind me to let my partner explain things next time... Bleagh. :
I remember laughing at Justin for reasons that I just can't seem to remember. Ah well, Maybe cause I find it normal to laugh at him? Ehehehe. –grins- I'm typing this cause I know that he never ever blog-hops anymore! Although if he reads this I wouldn't really mind cause he's a nice guy. Unlike certain people from church who I don't talk to anymore. I wonder who... How very extremely suspicious isn't it not? :)
Cough cough. I know that many people would take offense at that… Simply cause I find it normal to laugh at them… Blah. A good example would be me. : I used to get really angry every time someone teased me about anything. To my year's church people, I'm sure you remember what happened last year when I couldn't stomach anymore renaming of my poor doggy and pointless teasing… Well, that used to happen all the time. Not that I regret being this way. I'm unique! (the theme of the L1-L3 camp lols.)
Ah well, forward march!
Before L4-L6 camp, a certain someone with the name of Gerard and the surname of Bong decided to meet up for breakfast... So he asked me to ask everyone… And then I woke up insanely early even though I didn't need to cause in the end we didn't meet… Deprived me of an hour of sleep! Bahh.
Anyways, L4-L6 camp's schedule wasn't as crazy as the L1-L3 one… Seriously, I think we over-compensated on time. Cause we spent a grand total of 1 hour per game, which is kind of crazy. Imagine the Squirrel game for 1 hour… How creative can we get with "Earthquake!", "Fire!" and "Hunter!"? The game got old… And fast. Although the forfeit was funny cause we asked those who didn't need to do forfeits to choose the forfeit! Crazy ideas were shouted out… And we decided on the classic forfeit. The chicken dance! :) Brings back memories of RGPS it does.
Ah. But the L4-L6 camp was funny, cause Beatrice was wearing a pair of shorts, which Father Gerard doesn't allow, and Glen was afraid that Father Gerard would sabo him again. Father Gerard has a nasty habit of doing that to Server Boys. Hee. So then, the both of them were hiding in a corner behind the safety of a lot of chairs. If you saw how red they both turned when I told them that Sheep called that corner "the make out corner", you would have laughed your ass off. They both turned redder than tomatoes. Lols.
In the end, we got called to the front to demonstrate action songs anyway, so it didn't matter if Glen hid or not (cause being scared of Father Gerard wasn't a valid reason to hide in a corner, whereas wearing a pair of shorts would land both the wearer and the rest of the ministry in deep water….). And the moment Father Gerard saw me, he asked, "Where's Glen?"
Hmm. I find it weird that people in church associate me with other people. If I see… Amy, she'll ask me, "Where's Rae?" If this particular con2 sees me (I don't know his name), he'll ask, "Where's Justin?" (Its some sec2 SJI legionary) If Father Gerard sees me, he'll ask, "Where's Glen?" And for the other church people, they alternate with those three questions most of the time. And if its those three people in question? They'll ask, "Where's the rest?" , shout my name really loud, or ask "Is anyone else coming?" Lols. I still think it's weird. :X
:) Life is weird I guess. And those three are 99%s so… Maybe it's justified. Heehee.
The only other thing notable about that particular day that we held the L4-L6 camp on is that some of the SJIs were flying off for the Cambodia trip… And that it was the day before I flew off for Japan!
Since the SJIs were flying off that day, Justin was bugging me about what the rest wanted for souvenirs from Cambodia… Although in the end he didn't get anything. Zenia asked for a Cambodian kid! Crazy girl. Heehee. I think that's one of the reasons why my phone bill exploded this month. This and Japan Trip of course!
I am sorely tempted to start blogging about Japan Trip now… But! I shall stop myself and post about L9 camp instead! Not that L9 camp isn't as fun as Japan Trip… Although I wish Japan Trip was longer and that L9 camp would never end! (the only thing stopping me from wishing that Japan Trip would never end is cause I know I would run out of spending money… And what's a vacation without shopping! Although the wish that L9 camp would never end is impractical… Ah wells)
Well, it all started on a dark and stormy night the night before the camp. Cause I hadn't started packing yet. This state of unpackness carried on and on… Until the next day, 30mins before we left for campsite… I am a true procrastinator! Oops?
Well, on that night, Esther called me at a very late hour… To ask me how I was going to the IHM retreat centre (IHM! NOT IMH!) cause she had no idea about how to get there from our house area (we stay super near each other… Like the distance from RGPS to the bus stop! Or Church to Thompson Plaza! Or from 313 classroom to the boarding school!). So then it was decided that she'd follow my dad's car to campsite.
And around three hours before camp, I got various missed calls... And returned them when I noticed. Apparently, the others had decided to meet up before camp at AMK hub and then go down to IHM together. They forgot to tell me beforehand! :O! Evil people... Although its cause they discussed it on MSN and assumed that I could read their minds.
Pfft. Anyways, basically, camp was great fun although we had a lot of talks about sex… But that wasn't the fun part! The fun part was during the night when we were writing fuzzies, getting to know others better by playing 20 questions in the night (HEEHEE!), reconciliation and the games! It was some crazy fun. :)
I bet you are all "o.O" at the "playing 20 questions in the night" part. Well… For those of you who don't know, although I suspect that only church people would bother reading this post until here. Anyways! 20 questions is basically a game where 20 questions are asked… And the person replying has to reply the truth! Obviously, the typical "Who do you like?" questions were thrown. But I think I am the only one who answered it with a little truthfulness. STUPID EE HSIEN! I write this hoping that she'll never read it lols. Although I think I told her that before. So! We (Andrea, Ee Hsien and I) didn't sleep the whole of the first night, although we didn't play 20 questions the whole time! (We couldn't even hit the 20th question mark. We stopped after lame questions like "What's your PSLE score?" came out. Heh.) Most of the time we were playing cards/escaping from being caught awake/figuring out plans to play cards/saying things like "I don't want to sleep" or "If you sleep now, you can't wake up later."/playing shadow puppets. Ah. How fun that was!
Yeah well. Church camp was fun although there was an over-abundance of toothpaste… But heck.
My favourite action song is now "JESUS IS THE ROCK!" :)
But I don't think I can ever forget the dip dip song after 3 camps in the same holidays which used the same song... Blah.
It is my prerogative to inform you that I typed this when I first joined the boarding school and I didn't realise that I hadn't posted it. O.o, come to think of it, I haven't blogged in a while haven't I?
And why in the world was I so frigging CHIRPY? Look at all the exclamation marks. Pfft.
